Real RTK at a fleet-friendly price

The MA-RTK-AIR-626 exists for one reason: when a drone light show or research swarm needs every aircraft to hold a centimeter-grade position, the module cost multiplies by the fleet size. Built on the Unicore UM626N dual-band (L1+L5) receiver, the 626 delivers a true 1.5 cm + 1 ppm RTK FIX on ArduPilot at a fraction of the price of a conventional RTK module — and at only 200 mW it sips power and stays cool packed inside a small airframe.

One MicoAir MA-RTK-BASE station broadcasts corrections to an unlimited number of 626-equipped aircraft — the per-drone cost of centimeter positioning is just this module.

🎆 Flying a Skybrush drone light show? Read this first

The 626 sends only the u-blox NAV-PVT message and never the GPS week number. On official ArduPilot and Skybrush firmware that leaves the flight controller without a valid GPS time, so Skybrush Live shows a yellow TIMESYNC warning. Position and RTK are not affected, and no parameter or module setting can change it.

We fixed it on the flight-controller side. Our free Skybrush 4.6 firmware works the GPS week out from the date inside NAV-PVT. It is available for 20 flight controllers: flight-proven in a customer's show fleet on the MicoAir H743 V2 and H743 V2 AIO 45A, and build-verified for Cube Orange / Orange+, Pixhawk 6C, Pixhawk 4, Matek H743, Durandal, SpeedyBee F405 and more. Keep GPS_AUTO_CONFIG = 0 as usual.

FAQ

Does the 626 work with Skybrush?
Yes, with our free Skybrush 4.6 firmware for your flight controller. On the official firmware, position and RTK work but Skybrush shows a TIMESYNC warning because the 626 never sends the GPS week. Guide and downloads.

How many base stations does a show fleet need?
One. RTCM corrections are a broadcast, so a single MA-RTK-BASE serves every drone in radio range.

Can I use the 626 with PX4?
No, it is ArduPilot only. For PX4 choose the MA-RTK-AIR-982 or MA-RTK-AIR-F9P.

My flight controller is not in the firmware list. What now?
